As I have lived in London for the majority of my life, the London Underground has been of great importance to me. It was therefore a great opportunity, to apply for a competition run by Craft Central who have joined forces with Transport for London and the brief was to design a brooch based on the theme of the London Underground.
The theme sparked several ideas and I have heard that I have the opportunity to exhibit two of my brooch designs in a curated exhibition at Craft Central during Clerkenwell Design Week, which is coming up in the near future. There will also be a selling opportunity too. I am also looking forward to seeing the other brooch designs from other jewellers on show.
