I will be showcasing cutlery in my first solo cutlery exhibition from the 15Th November until the 31St December 2021. The pieces are conceptual and the designs reimagine cutlery into different forms. For example knives masquerade as bangles and forks can be worn as rings.
This has been amazing project which is supported by the Arts Council England. It is a departure from the jewellery collections that I make. The venue where the exhibition takes place is the Watermans Arts Centre based in Brentford. The address is:
40 High Street, Brentford, TW8, 0DS.
The opening times are from:
12.30pm until 10.00pm.
The exhibition is free to attend and you currently will not need to book to see the show. The pieces are inspired by the five senses which include the senses of hearing, sight, taste, touch and smell. This is my first departure into creating cutlery and the cutlery made is influenced by jewellery. I am really excited to be exhibiting soon. One of the designs is a scent pin as seen below, which has been created to enhance the experience of eating.
