1St Until 3Rd September 2023

In September I will be showcasing jewellery at the annual, event in west London, called the Creative Mile, which will be beginning at the end of the coming week.  This years event is set to be on a larger scale with more exhibitors and more venues taking part; over a larger area in Brentford.  The Creative Mile is an event which highlights and promotes the local artists and designers who either work or live in the borough of Hounslow.  There will be many fine artists and crafts people showcasing their paintings, sculptures, photography and a range of crafts, including, jewellery, ceramics and woodwork.

It’s an event which has been building over three years, this year I will be exhibiting work at Studio Flox, with other crafts people.  There will be a range of silver jewellery on show.  I will be displaying  selected collections, made in ethical and sustainable materials, predominately silver.  You can discover more about the event, venues and exhibitions at:

This Years Theme

The Creative Mile describes the event as “Where Art And The River Flow”. This year has a theme of water and many of the artists will be showing new work based on this particular theme.  In addition several of the venues are based along the river thames (and some further afield.)  There are twenty two venues in total, housing both art and craft.

Here is a list of some of the venues, Jimmy Choo Academy, Boston Manor House, Great West Gallery, Market Place, Studio Flox, Waterman’s Arts Centre, Musical museum and more.  There are also great eateries in the area, where visitors can stop off for a quick bite to eat and drink.  The whole area is currently going through regeneration and its interesting to see the evolving landscape in the area.
